Hi it is closed down temporarily because I need to work on my bungee cord network and since the other servers that will be part of the server are ddos protected that means it makes it harder for me to set it up. It isn’t just that simple like it usually is for others. The only way I had it set up like that was with lobby and some testing server (but I think it was meant to be for offline mode uuids I’m not sure). However for now it will be shut down and I know it isn’t really that  professional written but I’m tired and real life is kicking in as well. The testing server only really works well with offline mode uuids otherwise it’ll just come up with some sort of random error that everyone else seems to be having, but I now had to upgrade to velocity for the servers to work properly and since velocity doesn’t support bungee cord plugins unlike waterfall it is a pain in the ass to setup. For the old server, it will be hosted somewhere I have tried to set up an exaroton server as a test but it doesn’t work properly, cuz of ddos protection and all that too probably which is a pain in the ass so that would mean I’d have to look elsewhere and I’m not paying £40 just to host an old server so I’ll have to look for some alternatives. Maybe a lifetime host could manage it but even then I know a lifetime host which does host bungee cord network but the issue is that can shutdown within a few months or at anytime because on the actual hosting server itself they haven’t got an auto script which automatically starts all the servers when it’s restarted and it doesn’t notify anyone when it restarts. Which is a pain in the ass because players will complain that it’s shut down so that probably means I’ve got to look for another host, but until I find a slightly better host I can just pay once for like optiklink I’ll just stick with that for now. So far the lobby server only works which is essentially just another survival world for now so you can play but it is missing a lot of stuff like mcMMO, economy etc. although playable because it’s vanilla which will affect many peoples gameplays. I know I have got something set up already but I haven’t even configured the perms over from the old server to SQL yet, and I believe the perms file is in a SQLite file so I could just convert it to SQL on a website somewhere, which will make it a lot easier for me because I wouldn’t have to do all that perms shit again it is very annoying. Also I have had to remove some stuff temporarily so if some of you can’t join for whatever reason is because of that.  And if there is an actual problem you can always message me or on discord: glmidnight. I’ve been trying my best to work on it all day but I’ve got other stuff I need to be doing too in real life so it will be delayed probably by tomorrow or a few days, or worse case scenario 2 weeks but it is due by 27th July so I gotta do it fast before I lose everything. Sorry if it isn’t written in how I write things professionally but this is genuinely me speaking to you all on how everything is going so far. I do care about the mc server even when I can’t really pay a lot due to expenses but that is when I need to look for cheaper alternatives and this is one step forward, I went from paying about $40/month for 1 server to about €12/month and I’m hosting 7-8 servers which is worth it imo. I will post updates here when I have any but for now guys the server will be in maintenance and unstable but anyone can play.
